Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, is convinced that educational reforms will be completed in Ukraine, and that Ukrainian educational institutions will be included into the world top lists within ten-fifteen years.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated the abovementioned on Sunday, 31 August, greeting the teaching staff and the students of Kyiv Trade and Economic University with the beginning of a new academic year.
A.Yatseniuk believes that reforms of higher education should result in coordination of the number of specialities, economic needs, governmental order and economic needs of such governmental order.
He also fails to see an alternative to the Bologna process joined by Ukraine. He underscored that quality of education is crucial in the structure of economy.
Dwelling upon the importance of Kyiv Trade and Economic University, he emphasized that domestic market and trade should be regarded as urgent issues, as domestic trade formed the gross domestic product of Ukraine.
Addressing the students, A.Yatseniuk stated: "You are the true generation of independence that is responsible for building Ukrainian State in the future".
